Important printing note: This artwork was distributed in both single-sided and double-sided original theatrical versions. Current poster dealers document original 27x40 examples in both formats. Because the photographs provided show only the front, I would not put DS or SS in your title yet unless you have confirmed the reverse side.

This is an authentic original theatrical one-sheet produced for the 2003 release of Rugrats Go Wild, the animated crossover bringing together two of Nickelodeon's most recognizable franchises: Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys.

The colorful theatrical artwork features the Rugrats cast perched high in a tropical palm tree, with members of the Thornberry family gathered below. The large central Rugrats Go Wild logo, blue tropical sky and lush green foliage make this one an especially strong display poster for collectors of Nickelodeon animation and early-2000s pop culture.

The bottom artwork carries the theatrical campaign tagline:

“THE FAMILY VACATION GOES OVERBOARD”

along with the original “ONLY IN THEATRES JUNE 13” release advertising, Paramount and Nickelodeon branding, theatrical credits and PRINTED IN U.S.A. marking.

The crossover nature is the real collectible hook here. Instead of representing only one Nickelodeon property, this poster combines Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys during the height of their original television popularity. That gives us several strong search audiences beyond buyers simply searching the movie title.

CONDITION

VERY FINE / EXCELLENT DISPLAY CONDITION

Based on the detailed photographs, this example presents very cleanly overall with strong color and excellent central artwork.

The poster appears rolled and never folded, with no visible pinholes or tape residue. The colors remain bright and saturated, particularly the greens, reds and blues.

I do see minor handling/storage characteristics, including some light edge waviness/curling and a subtle line/handling impression across part of the upper-right sky area. These are relatively minor but should be disclosed rather than calling the poster Near Mint.

The main image area remains exceptionally attractive and there are no major tears, paper loss or distracting defects visible in the supplied photographs.

The metal pieces visible in the photographs are magnets used only to hold the poster flat for photography and do not puncture the paper.

The photographs show the actual poster being offered and should be considered part of the condition description.
