This striking original 2015 advance theatrical poster features Meryl Streep as rocker Ricki Rendazzo, standing with her electric guitar beside the enormous red “GET READY FOR RICKI” campaign artwork.

This is the first major advance poster design released for the film. IMP Awards identifies this specific artwork as poster #1 of 3, with the tagline “Get ready for Ricki,” and records the artwork as appearing in May 2015.

Unlike the later regular theatrical one-sheet, this advance version prominently advertises only “AUGUST” and states “This film is not yet rated,” both strong indicators of its pre-release campaign status. The completed film opened theatrically on August 7, 2015.

• No traditional fold lines
• No visible pinholes
• No significant tears
• No major creases
• No staining or discoloration observed
• Light handling/waviness along portions of the outer edges
• Minor edge/corner wear consistent with rolled storage
• Main image area remains exceptionally clean

The light-colored background is particularly useful for judging condition, and I do not see the kind of heavy surface wear that would push this into a lower grade.
