Once 2007 Original Movie Poster 27x40 DS Glen Hansard Marketa Irglova
DESCRIPTION
Original theatrical movie poster for the acclaimed 2007 Irish musical romantic drama Once, starring Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová.
This beautiful theatrical poster features Hansard and Irglová walking through the streets of Dublin, with the image transitioning into the strings and body of a guitar — a striking design that perfectly reflects the film’s intimate, music-centered story.
Written and directed by John Carney, Once follows a Dublin street musician and a Czech immigrant who meet through their shared love of music and begin writing and recording songs together. Their understated relationship and musical collaboration became one of the most celebrated independent-film stories of the 2000s.
The film became an international critical success and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Falling Slowly,” performed and written by Hansard and Irglová.
The poster prominently displays its Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Audience Award and Dublin International Film Festival Audience Award honors, along with the theatrical release line “In Select Theatres May 18.”
A particularly attractive original poster for collectors of independent cinema, music films, romantic dramas, Sundance films, Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová, or Fox Searchlight releases.
