Important Poster-Year Identification

This is another poster where I would not use the movie's 2014 release year in the Shopify title.

This exact first Non-Stop poster was publicly unveiled on October 16, 2013, alongside the first trailer. IMP Awards also records this artwork as having been added on October 16, 2013.

The poster itself supports that identification: it advertises simply “FEBRUARY” and states “THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED,” which identifies it as advance advertising produced before the 2014 theatrical release.

This is an original 2013 theatrical advance movie poster for NON-STOP, the high-altitude action thriller starring Liam Neeson as U.S. Federal Air Marshal Bill Marks.

The poster features one of the film's most dynamic promotional images: Liam Neeson fighting inside the cabin of an aircraft, handgun drawn as the plane appears to pitch violently around him. His name is prominently displayed across the top in yellow, with the bold NON-STOP title and the memorable tagline:

“THE HIJACKING WAS JUST THE BEGINNING.”

Unlike the later theatrical poster issued closer to release, this early version promotes the movie simply as arriving in “FEBRUARY,” making it an identifiable advance campaign one-sheet.

The story follows Bill Marks during a transatlantic flight from New York to London when he begins receiving anonymous messages demanding $150 million. Unless the money is transferred, someone aboard the aircraft will be killed every twenty minutes. As suspicion turns toward Marks himself, he must identify the threat while simultaneously trying to prevent catastrophe aboard the aircraft. AMC lists the film's theatrical release as February 28, 2014.

The film reunited Neeson with director Jaume Collet-Serra, who previously directed him in Unknown, and helped solidify the period in which Neeson became one of the most recognizable action stars of the 2010s.

For collectors, the appeal extends beyond the individual film into Liam Neeson memorabilia, aviation cinema, airplane thrillers, action movie posters and original Universal theatrical advertising.

This is an authentic studio-issued theatrical advertising poster from the original promotional campaign—not a reproduction, reprint or decorative print.

CONDITION

Excellent overall condition.

Based on the photographs, this example presents exceptionally well with strong contrast, sharp imagery and a very clean main image area.

I do not see any obvious:

  • Pinholes
  • Tears
  • Tape residue
  • Writing
  • Major creases
  • Significant corner damage
  • Heavy surface wear

There is some minor natural rolled-storage waviness along portions of the outer edges, but nothing visible that materially affects the artwork or display quality.

The metal pieces visible in the photographs are magnets used only to hold the poster flat during photography and do not pierce or damage the poster.

Please review all photographs carefully, as the exact poster shown is the poster the buyer will receive.

SHIPPING

The poster will be carefully rolled and professionally packed in a sturdy shipping tube to help protect it during transit.
