This is an original 2007 U.S. theatrical one-sheet for Elizabeth: The Golden Age, featuring an imposing close-up portrait of Cate Blanchett as Queen Elizabeth I in armor beneath the memorable “WOMAN. WARRIOR. QUEEN.” tagline.

The exact U.S. final-style design is documented as an original rolled, double-sided 27" x 40" theatrical one-sheet, rather than a reproduction or later decorative print.

Directed by Shekhar Kapur, the film reunited him with Blanchett following 1998's Elizabeth. The cast also includes Geoffrey Rush, Clive Owen, Samantha Morton and Abbie Cornish. Universal released the film domestically on October 12, 2007.

This one needs a more conservative grade than several of the cleaner posters we've been doing.

Based specifically on your photographs:

• Excellent overall image presentation
• Strong color and contrast throughout
• No traditional fold lines
• Rolled theatrical format
• No visible pinholes
• Main portrait area presents very cleanly
• Some minor edge handling / waviness
• Light handling marks visible in the lower black credit area
• Most importantly, there is an approximately 1-inch vertical tear extending upward from the bottom edge in the black credit area
• The tear is below the primary artwork and does not interfere with Cate Blanchett's portrait or the main title

Recommended Grade: Very Good

I would not call this Excellent or Near Mint because the bottom-edge tear is a material defect. The poster still displays extremely well, but we want the condition description to protect you from returns and establish buyer trust.

I would specifically put this sentence in the listing:

“Please note: there is an approximately 1-inch tear extending upward from the bottom edge within the lower black credit area. The tear is clearly shown in the photographs and does not affect the primary artwork.”

The silver pieces shown in the photographs are magnets used to hold the poster flat for photography and do not puncture the poster.
