DESCRIPTION
This is an original 2009 U.S. theatrical advance movie poster produced for Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.
The artwork features Alvin rendered entirely as a glowing Christmas-light display against a deep black background, making this one of the more distinctive promotional designs created for the film.
Along the bottom, the poster advertises:
“the squeakquel • christmas”
rather than the later full theatrical release date, identifying it as an advance / teaser campaign poster.
The film was directed by Betty Thomas and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The voice cast included Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Christina Applegate, Anna Faris, and Amy Poehler, with Zachary Levi and David Cross appearing in live action.
The actual poster shown in your photographs carries the printed designation “VER B” in the lower-left corner, confirming this as Version B.
Dealer references document original Squeakquel theatrical one-sheets as 27" × 40", rolled and double-sided, including the advance Christmas-release artwork.
This is an authentic original theatrical movie poster, not a modern reproduction.
The exact poster shown in the photographs is the poster the buyer will receive.
