This is an original 2013 advance theatrical movie poster for 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE, featuring Sullivan Stapleton as Themistocles in full Greek battle armor against a dark, storm-driven backdrop.

The image is dominated by Themistocles in his distinctive Corinthian-style helmet, armor and shield, with the vivid red 300: Rise of an Empire logo cutting across the dark blue-and-black artwork.

What makes this particular poster especially interesting for collectors is the “AUGUST 2” release date printed at the bottom.

That was the film's originally scheduled 2013 theatrical release date. Warner Bros. later moved the film from August 2, 2013 to March 7, 2014, meaning this poster represents the earlier pre-delay promotional campaign rather than the later 2014 theatrical campaign. The studio's release-date change was announced in May 2013.

CONDITION

This poster presents in excellent overall collectible condition based on the photographs provided.

It has been stored rolled and retains excellent blue, black and red color saturation with strong detail throughout the Themistocles artwork.

The photographs show no obvious pinholes or tape marks. There is minor natural handling and slight waviness along portions of the outer edges, consistent with storage of an original rolled theatrical poster.
