DESCRIPTION

Original 2006 U.S. advance theatrical one-sheet for Tom Tykwer’s Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, adapted from the acclaimed novel by Patrick Süskind.

This is the striking advance “Rose Petals / Female Silhouette” artwork, featuring the silhouette of a woman dissolving into vivid red rose petals against a textured black-and-silver background. The minimalist design is one of the most recognizable images associated with the film.

Reference sources identify this exact U.S. design as an original 2006 advance one-sheet measuring 27" × 40" and issued double-sided.

The poster also carries the original promotional wording “From the Director of Run Lola Run” and “Based on the Best Selling Novel,” along with the “Coming Soon” advance-release treatment.

A visually sophisticated piece for collectors of European cinema, Tom Tykwer, Alan Rickman, Dustin Hoffman, Ben Whishaw, literary adaptations and psychological thriller memorabilia.
